We’re the founders of If Lost Start Here and the guides behind the Find Your Way 25-Day Challenge.

As we’ve developed this Challenge and built our online platform, If Lost, Start Here, we’ve dedicated ourselves to understanding what it means to have More Good Days, and what we, collectively, are lacking, forgetting or ignoring that prevents us from getting there.

This course is the culmination of everything we've learned along the way.

What if this January you stopped trying to change everything about yourself and started 2024 in a different place, one based on curiosity, play and acceptance?

 

We are currently being invited to totally remake ourselves into the ideal version of who we were meant to be. We are being asked to reshape, resize, and reconstitute our daily lives into a whole new way of living. As the baubles are packed away, it’s our turn to glisten, an ideal that might turn out to be as fragile as those glass ornaments.  

 

We admit to falling into this hope every year. We grasp onto the New. We rush towards the better-than-befores. We revel in its brazen possibility. We are all anticipation. Christmas consumption replaced by New Year introspection.

 

But we’re realizing that even as we do this, we also do something else: we abandon something of ourselves.

 

We listen to the trends, the noise, the life hacks, the listicles, the thought pieces, but we don’t really listen to what we need, or pay attention to what got us here, or even connect with what we’re really longing for. We forget ourselves in this very moment when we could really connect with ourselves; maybe we lose contact with who we are for the whole month before most resolutions end as we try and try and try.

 

What if we could do New Year differently? What if we center it not on resolutions but on who we really are? What if the only promise we make is to hear ourselves, just for a moment, before life starts up again and gets in our way? What if we begin with acceptance and self-compassion?

How to build a practice for your emotional and mental well-being as much as your physical health – one that you can return to again and again in the year ahead.

How to recenter yourself in your days, to orientate yourself in a way that feels authentic to you, and establish some anchor points to turn to when life gets uncertain.

How to identify where something that is crucial to your well-being might be lacking or has been neglected and what to do about this

How to make a plan for doing more of what feels good to you (whether that means becoming more energized and purposeful, or more rested and nourished - and identifying what that feeling needs to be for you)

 

Over 25 days, we’ll help you start 2024 in a different place. Rather than crafting more of what we should be doing – and forgetting what that is by week two – this year we’re going for something else. This January (and for the next 25 days) together we'll be creating a practice for better emotional well-being for the year ahead – however, that needs to looks to each of us.

 

This will become the foundation that you can return to again and again and again throughout the months ahead – to revisit and revise – something to anchor you rather than something to be beholden to. It’ll be in your words, on your terms, with your knowledge of our life.

 

This course will start with what you want well-being to be and do for you, whether that’s getting more energy and connection in your life, or more calm and peace, or something between the two. We’ll identify what that needs to be from the get-go.

 

We’ll then take you on a deep dive into the ten fundamental approaches that we’ve found are integral to our sense of well-being (though we often forget just how important they are) and all scientifically backed.

 

Finally, you'll have the chance to bring it all together and create your practice for your everyday emotional, physical and mental well-being so that you can feel happier and healthier in your everyday life.

Over 25 days, you'll have the chance to explore different facets of your well-being practice, some you may have considered before (like the quality of your relationships and the impacts of getting outside) and some you may not have (like how being in awe makes you feel good and how being with technology maybe doesn’t). You’ll start to shape and try out your well-being practice for everyday life discovering ways that feel good to you.

Each day, we'll send you an email featuring research-backed prompts, inspirations, and guidance to help you create an actionable plan to (gently) shift your everyday experiences and positively benefit your well-being.

You may have never thought about your life in this way before (we hear this a lot from our clients), but doing so will help you identify some fundamental aspects that might be missing, and that you might be craving. This Challenge will give you the space, time and knowledge at the beginning of 2024 to align your life with what you value now (though you get to take it at your own pace).
